New E-BOOK--Encyclopedia of Counseling

          Encyclopedia of Counseling is written by Frederick T. L. Leong, Elizabeth M. Altmaier, and Brian D. Johnson. Total four volumes cover all of the major theories, approaches, and contemporary issues in counseling. Provides an overview of the theories, models, techniques, and challenges involved in professional counseling.

Blackboard Maintenance

January 13, 2010
JSU Blackboard Maintenance has been scheduled from January 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. to January 24, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. (all times Central), Blackboard will be unavailable while maintenance is completed. This 12 hour window is necessary in order to install several prominent fixes.

Blackboard Upgrade

December 15, 2009
The Office of Distance Education announced that Blackboard would be upgraded to Blackboard Learn version 9 beginning December 16th, 2009. The system will be down for this maintenance from very early the morning of December 16th through approximately December 23rd.

Blackwell's Collection Manager Migration

October 16, 2009
Migration to the new version of Blackwell’s Collection Manager will be on next Monday, Oct 19th, , so access won't be available on that day. You will be able to access the new version of Collection Manager at http://cm7.blackwell.com via Internet Explorer 7.0 or Firefox 2.0 or 3.0.
